William Dembaugh

WIlliam Dembaugh is a former leading tenor of the New York City Opera and the Biel-Solothurn Opera of Switzerland. Bill performs regularly in church and synagogue services in New Jersey. Bill feels a real kinship with Frederick Law Olmsted while performing in "The Promise of Central Park," the original Theatre in Motion play from which this short film emanates. He and producer/director, Leslie Fanelli, as well as American Sign Language interpreter, Gerald Small, have performed together many times in Central Park in New York City, the location of Olmsted and Vaux's first landscape masterpiece. Bill and his wife Jean have two daughters and four grandchildren.
