Charlie Samuels

Charlie Samuels' first feature length film "VIRGIN BLACKTOP: A New York Skate Odyssey" won 6 awards of 8 eligible on the International film festival circuit, received rave reviews and has consistently caused standing ovations. The documentary feature, which he directed, wrote and produced, is scheduled for to be distributed in 2020. Samuels has previously been Director and Director of Photography on dozens of documentary films, music videos, commercials and multimedia projects. His still photography assignments have included clients Sports Illustrated, Time, The New York Times, Elle, Time, People, GQ and Vogue. He has exhibited internationally, is published in numerous books and his imagery is featured on Burton snowboards, Vans sneakers and a Supreme clothing line.
