Born and raised in Hetauda, Nepal in 1985, Sujit Bidari is a film graduate specialized in screenwriting and film directing. His diploma film Savitri (2013) traveled various film festivals around the world bagging some awards. He has written Screenplays for a few films and worked as a script consultant and analyst in many features and shorts. Among them is, The Black Hen (FEDEORA Best Film Award at Venice Critics Week - 2015) by Min Bahadur Bham. Sujit's story mainly focuses on women's psychology. His short, Savitri, and debut feature, Ainaa Jhyal Ko Putali (2020) (Butterfly on the Windowpane) also speaks the story of the female. He is also the writer and a producer of the latter movie. Sujit is a creative director and a lecturer at Everest Film Academy and also a part-time lecturer at Oscar International College (College of Film Studies). He owns his film company Arko Film.
