Avijit Sud

Avijit Sud is a writer/director born in India. At a very young age he relocated to Zambia, where he was first introduced to the performing arts. He began acting on stage in school plays and community performances. Watching movies was his first love. He'd often mimic iconic scenes very well from his favourite movies. Despite a love for film, he didn't think about the possibility of it as a career until he moved to Malaysia in 2012 and met a group of very talented people in his college. Together they founded the college drama club and produced a web series, short films and stage plays. In 2012 he also founded his production company, XIVLX Studios and has since gone on to direct 8 short films and 1 feature film under his production company. He realised where his real passion lay and decided to change careers from the financial world to the world of films. He enrolled in Art Center College of Design's Graduate Film program in 2016 to help refine his filmmaking skills. During this stint he directed 3 short films, winning multiple awards at film festivals. He has now moved to Mumbai and begun working there.
