Jon Wesselink

Jon Wesselink is born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. He is a Cinematographer and Director known for his award-winning documentary "Mishkeegogamang" (2018). His devotion to the craft of visual storytelling started when he was 12 years old with a pocket-sized digital camera. With a Combined Honours degree in Communication and Media Studies and Film Studies at Carleton University, Wesselink wishes to take his fresh perspective, mixed with a love of film theory to translate stories into visual aesthetics, through the lens of the digital generation, and with respect to historic traditions.
