Simone Alexis Webb was born March 22,1991 in Buffalo,New York. She grew up on Buffalo New York's east side, with her two older brothers. Growing up, struggle was not a stranger to Simone. Although her father was in her life, she grew up in a single parent household where her mother truly struggled to pay the bills. There were times when she would come home from school and the lights and gas would be cut off, there would be nothing to eat for dinner, and she even remembers having to put milk outside in the snow when electricity was cut off. In 1998, Simone's mother moved her and her two brothers into Langfield projects. Simone grew up in this neighborhood but her mother never made her feel like she would be a "product of her environment." Throughout her entire academic career Simone excelled and graduated high school at the top of her class and as class president. It wasn't until 2011 that she finally figured out that fashion was her true passion, and she decided to become a fashion stylist. In 2014, Simone enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University to receive her bachelors in Fashion Merchandising. Overall, Simone's main philosophy in life is that struggle leads to success. The things that truly make us are supposed to break us. Although people tend to shun cliches, Simone definitely feels like she is one. Growing up around people who were killed, or actually killed people, were always in fights, and had multiple children, Simone vowed to break that generational curse and truly follow her dreams. She never let being black, or a woman deter her from following her dreams. In 2014, Simone traveled to Paris, London and Amsterdam, and in 2015 she went to one of the richest places in the world- Dubai. Upon obtaining her bachelors in fashion merchandising in 2017, Simone plans to relocate to Los Angeles to become a fashion buyer, and eventually open up her own brick and mortar boutique while maintaining her styling business. Through adversity and obstacles, Simone has only become more passionate about what she wants out of life and she welcomes opposition. Today, Simone has over 30 clients that come to her for wardrobe styling, consultations, and personal shopping. Her online boutique has been very successful as well with customers in Germany, London, and all throughout the U.S. Simone wishes to come back to Buffalo once she makes a name for herself, to start a fashion school especially for young black women living in urban and crime ridden neighborhoods. Growing up Simone saw how powerful instilling just a tad bit of hope in young black girl is, and she wishes to pass on the many blessings that have been bestowed upon her.
