Gergely Riba

Gery Riba is a film performer/musician from Hungary. He was born in Budapest, Hungary the only son of the Hungarian parents the literature/history teacher Mária Eniko Horváth and the ex-fencer Ferenc Riba. He has a sister Fruzsina Riba. The family moved to the countryside Pilisborosjeno, from Budapest around his age seven. He started the primary school over there. After his short sport career, he formed his first band in 2007 called Above The Under (later changed their name to Karmageddon) a stoner/southern rock band. From 2010 he is the singer/guitar player for the band Tamirel. He graduated on Pazmany Peter Catholic University on liberal arts and philosophy in 2014. He started to shoot videos in 2012 during his trips abroad in the U.S.A, Canada, Norway, England. When he moved back from Bristol to Hungary in 2015 he started to shoot short films beside music videos. In the meantime he started to work as an assistant director.
