Jose Luis "Chino" Rivera Madera is a Puerto Rican actor born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico in 1977. The oldest of 6 siblings, he joined the U.S. Army in 1995 and served in the military for 20 years as a graphic designer before retiring in 2015. In 2017, he joined the Memphis Police Department as an Officer. His passion is entertaining and making people laugh. From singing and dancing "La Bamba" in grade school, to appearing in many talent shows through high school, and even co-founding Bavaria's 90's R&B Group: 4-Sure, he continues to look for challenging opportunities. His first acting job was in a television commercial for Nahan, Saharovich, and Trotz (NST) law firm in Memphis. Since then, he has appeared in many independent films and has auditioned for several roles in Hollywood productions. He resides in Millington, TN and studies acting at the Indie Acting Studio in Bartlett. He is graduating with a Master's Degree in Management with Marketing Specialization from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) in the fall of 2019. He is the proud father of two boys: Jose Antonio Rivera and Trevor Ross Irwin. His hobbies include playing guitar, writing songs, weightlifting, and the movies.
