Tennyson Elise Strano was born in Phoenix, Arizona, to Naomi and Rob Strano. Most of her adolescence took place in Destin, Florida, where she learned to play the bassoon and saxophone. After high school, Tennyson moved to Austin, Texas where she studied acting with Marco Perella, Mona Lee, and Laurel Vouvray at "In The Moment Acting Studio." Tennyson has had sizable roles in several independent films, such as "The Menu" by Atli Sigurjónsson, which played at Fantastic Fest and Stockfish Film Festival, and "Returning" by Jenna Covarrubias, which played at Nacogdoches Film Festival, Caldas Film Festival, GTX Film Festival, and the Austin Student Film Festival where she was nominated for Best Actress. In 2019, she will appear as Sandy in "The Home Group" by Marcus B. Meyers, and also star as herself in "The Dynamite Show" by The Dynamite Sisters. Tennyson is also studying to receive her bachelors in bassoon performance at the Mannes School of Music in NYC. Most recently, Tennyson played sax on "Out There" on the new Hovvdy x Lomelda album, which can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, and Bandcamp. Looking to the future, she hopes to continue to experiment with blending the creative worlds of performance music and acting.
