Sina Kianpour

Sina Kianpour is a filmmaker from Iran. He has got a BA degree in film from Soore University and a MA in photography from the University of Tehran. He is mostly concerned about social issues and in all the movies he made a trace of social phenomena can be found. He was chosen to direct the short documentary "Winter Is Yet to Come" in an exchange program with the Film University of Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Germany. His first feature-length film Instagrammer has got screened nationwide in Iran and brought him recognition as a filmmaker in Iran. He is currently studying MFA in Film and Television Production at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
