Afsheen Misaghi

Proudly hailing from West Virginia, Afsheen Misaghi is an actor, director, and producer who has been a part of interesting, entertaining, unique, and authentic projects. As an actor, Afsheen has years of training in numerous acting methods for the stage and screen including the Chekhov and Stanislavski techniques. He is also an active practitioner of the Alexander technique, has extensive improv training, and is a certified theatre and film combatant. As a director and producer, Afsheen's work centers around diversity and inclusion, as he makes every effort to employ non-traditional casts and explore topics such as socio-economic divides and racism and the media. Afsheen is also an experienced international teaching artist with a background in research, art pedagogy (acting, directing, voice, and survey courses), and curriculum design. Afsheen received his MFA in Acting from the University of Florida and is an alumni of the Fulbright Program.
