Gabriela Lima

Gabriela Lima is a Brazilian Producer who moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of working in Film. On this path, she quickly realized that directing was her true calling. Gabriela has always held a love for Psychological Thrillers/Historical Dramas. The movies she creates focus on making statements about current controversial topics, and her vision primarily focuses on internal conflicts. Graduating at 16, Gabriela spent the next two years traveling the world, learning English, then squeezing a four-year program at Full Sail University into two years, before heading to Los Angeles - a place "I felt I should've been already" when she visited it during her two-year global jaunt. Gabriela has had the opportunity of working with major networks, including: Fastest Car (Netflix), American Idol (ABC) and the show Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath (A&E), which earned an Emmy for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special (2020). She opened the production company Set Vision Studios and is currently working to bring more representation of Latino culture to the screens. Gabriela is working to bring the story of a hero from her own country to the screen. With her projects impressing the Film Festival circuit, she believes it is only a matter of time until a film with a latino woman protagonist becomes reality. Her experience telling stories has made her want to show the world the hardships of being an immigrant.
