Mary Anne Ryan Hossack was born on February 4th, 2004 in Tugun Queensland, Australia to Maltese/Australian parents. Her mother MaryAnn Hossack is a child care operator and father John Hossack is a marketing consultant. She has a younger brother John Reno (JR) who is 11 years her junior. Mary is in Yr 12 (2021) student at Hillcrest Christian College in Reedy Creek, Queensland, a suburb in the Gold Coast hinterland of SE Queensland where she lives with her parents and brother. Mary began to seriously pursue her acting career after auditioning with the Premiere group from the USA in 2016 and securing her place in the showcase event in Orlando, Florida USA. At the Premiere event Mary was noticed by 2 casting directors from Australia (AP Castings and Cinzia Cossain) who encouraged Mary to secure the services of an Australian based talent agent (Extra Edge Talent). After showcasing her talents in Florida Mary worked as an extra on student films. In 2018 Mary worked as a paid extra in the soon to be released movie 'Occupation 2'. In September of 2018 Mary landed a role in the Premiere Streaming App sitcom Fun World (2018) which was released in Dec of the same year. Mary stars are Spencer Thompson the ambassador from the Australia - dressed as a Kangaroo and charged with sharing fun facts about her country with visitors to Fun World. In this program aimed for children Mary as Spencer delivers comedic dialogue and showcases her talent. Mary promoted her role in Fun World (2018) at the Premiere Event in Orlando Florida in December 2018 where she will work with children to share her insights about what she has learned by being on set and working as part of a TV cast. Mary has signed with the Premiere group to work on the second season of Fun World which is scheduled to be filmed in February 2019. Mary had secured extra work in Australia including as a featured extra in Baz Luhrmann upcoming Elvis biopic, The Bureau of Magical Things and Dwayne Johnson's Young Rock. Once school is over Mary will focus solely on securing roles within productions both locally and overseas.
