Biography

Chuck Willis has spent over 30 years editing every type of project from a sweeping lineup of directors for styles and genres of all kinds. He cut his comedy teeth at the mecca of pop culture humor: Saturday Night Live. During the Phil Hartman, Jon Lovitz, Will Ferrell and Tina Fey years, he cut many of the classic parody commercials, including Change Bank, The Fruiting, Wilson Trap Doors, Compulsion by Calvin Klein, Colon Blow, Big Brawn, Woomba, and Uncle Jemima. He was later called on to direct the entire cast, including Jimmy Fallon, Rachel Dratch, Maya Rudolph, Chris Kattan, and Chris Parnell, in a spoof skit on a Political Town Meeting. Chuck later launched the post production company Crew Cuts in 1987 which was quickly established as one of the industry leaders with offices in New York, LA, and San Francisco. Highlights include the number one Super Bowl spot in 1995 for Pepsi, The Lil Penny series for Nike, voiced by Chris Rock, and the Emmy-nominated "Sheens" spot for Visa. F
