Paula Bressann is a Brazilian Portuguese-English speaking actress, singer and TV presenter known for her strong presence and determined attitude. She studied dance and music since she was a child, at Olympus High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. After she returned to Brazil she graduated at Celia Helena Theater School. She performed in several independent theater productions such as "The good and faithful servant", "Hamlet", and "The Pirate Musical", English speaking productions directed by Albano Sargaço. She has worked with renowned Brazilian director Wolf Maya at his hugely successful Musical Theater Productions "Garota Glamour", with the role Dirce and "Rock Show Musical", where she performed among other six main singers. She played the role of a hilarious mother at the play "Side B - Changing the season" winners of Brazil's Quality Award - Special Musical Revelation. She played the supporting role of a tango dancer at the short film "Del Plata" directed by André D'Elia e Marco Bernardes, and participated in one episode of "Vila Saúde", mini-series aired on open television, produced by the department of health and directed by Guga Sanders. She released her first solo album as a singer a composer in 2009, with the special participation of the Brazilian legend Dominguinhos. Her education includes workshops with Antônio Amâncio C. e Roumer Canhães for TV, Valentin Vassilyevitch Teplyakov, professor of the Russian academy of theater, on Stanislavski Method, Luciano Sabino for TV and Renato Siqueira e Beto Perocini on Meisner Technique.
