Actress, international top model, singer and philanthropist, Stephanie Del Valle was born in San Juan Puerto Rico. She received international recognition when she was crowned Miss World in 2016. Since then, Stephanie has used this platform to promote charitable causes around the world. For three consecutive years she has hosted a 24-hour telethon in Iowa, raising over $12 million dollars. During her reign, she has raised over $40 million dollars, making her the most successful Miss World in the history of the organization founded in 1951. At a very young age, Stephanie was a member of the San Juan Children's Choir (Coro de Niños de San Juan). The group was founded in 1966 by its director, Evy Lucío Córdova, whose founding members include Gloria Tristani, who went on to become the first Hispanic member of the Federal Communications Commission during President Clinton's Administration. The Choir usually accepts participants from the age of 6. Stephanie was accepted at 4 years old. As Miss World, she was invited to Royal Events, held at Hampton Court Palace and The Goldsmith Company. Her passion for horse racing took her to The Royal Ascot where she was compared to The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton in a now famous Who wore it Best? at the Royal Ascot Weekend's Fashion Review. Television and Film credits include the Miss World Final (Presenter & Translator), Variety The Children's Charity Annual Telethon and the short film Alive. Theater credits include The Little Mermaid, In the Heights, Cinderella, Godspell and Fame. As an international top model Stephanie has walked the runway for Puerto Rican and international designers such as Agatha Ruiz de La Prada, Gionni Sraccia, Stella Nolasco and has walked the runways of Paris Fashion Week for designer Miriam Budet. She has also modeled for brands such as The W Hotel, Ego Shoes, Valija Gitana, Gatsby and The Disney Vacation Club. Her extensive charitable work reaches to all corners of the globe including India, China, Indonesia, Philippines, British Virgin Islands, U.S.A., New Zealand, Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, England and South Africa. With the Rise Against Hunger program she helped provide over 750,000 food parcels to Early Childhood Development centers as well as proper and safe transportation methods to and from schools for the children of Qunu, South Africa. Del Valle also supported a project in India that gave school education to 600,000 disadvantaged children and helped promote health awareness by introducing eco-friendly products for young women all around the country. Stephanie supports Lily's Angels Foundation, an organization which provides access to early intervention therapies for babies with Down syndrome, and with her musical background, pioneered a musical therapy program for these children. In her native Puerto Rico, Del Valle launched a fundraising campaign that created the first Pediatric Liver and Kidney Transplant Unit. In August of 2017 in partnership with the Beauty with a Purpose Foundation Del Valle raised the funds to bring in tech supplies such as projectors, monitors, computers and TVs, to the children in Smokey Mountain in the Philippines. Also in 2017, the Miss World Organization extended her contract and in January of 2018 made her the first ever and only Beauty with a Purpose Ambassador, allowing her to continue traveling and helping children all over the world with the Miss World Organization. Stephanie is now in Hollywood where she is pursuing a television and film acting career. Stephanie's hobbies include, painting, reading, skiing, traveling and horse racing. She is fluent in English, Spanish and is learning French. Del Valle studied Law and Communications at of Pace University in New York City.
