Ezra Vanmelle

Ezra Vanmelle, born April 24 1993 in Denmark WA, first displayed his passion for acting in high school musical productions. After leaving Denmark High School he joined a local theater group, participating in numerous comedic plays and serving as the youngest member of the theater's management committee for several years. During this time he gained a Diploma of Music at his local Tafe campus, and spent a few years as part of heavy metal/alternative prog-rock band called the Flying Embers. In late 2015 he moved to Perth, eager to start screen acting. He scored a couple of small roles as an extra in student films, before landing his first notable role as "Peter the Penguin" in the Raw Nerve short film Normal People. Since then, he has gained a Diploma of Screen and Media at North Metropolitan Tafe, taken a number of acting courses and workshops, and played roles in several more short films.
