Vanessa Antoinette has been singing since she said her first words, but only started acting in the winter of 2016. She went to a free acting workshop at Actor's Technique in NYC and from there, she's had an unquenchable thirst to perform in film and stage. She is passionate about her craft and takes it very seriously, but doesn't let it get in the way of her good-nature and compassion for others. Vanessa has participated in a number of student films with NYU Tisch's Film School, including: The Unnecessary Thing, Yallah, Short, Salazar, and Dressed. She also worked on Green (2019 Sundance Short winner), as the daughter, among others. On stage, Vanessa has been with the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra since 2016, and is a member of the Suffolk Concert Choir, with performances at the Tilles Center, Staller Center, Lincoln Center, Stonybrook Arena, NYS Veteran's Home, Citifield, and Carnegie Hall. Her musical theater credits include the U.S. debuts of: Wind in the Willows, as the Littlest Hedgehog, The Conductor, Tommy, and a Wildwooder, (CMTF Broadway Workshop, Barauch Theater, NYC); Psykidz, a New Musical, as The Innkeeper (Staged Reading at Ripley Grier and Triad Theatre, NYC); and Show and Tell the Musical, as Portia, (Lampiasi Productions, Workshop Theatre, NYC). She has also performed locally on Long Island, New Jersey and with other off-Broadway productions. Vanessa is extremely grateful for the help of her voice coach and mentor, Amanda Chmela, her parents, and all those who have trained and worked with her to become the best she can be including Jessica Rofe, Karen Lampiasi, Eric Anthony Lopez, Brooke Procida, Evan Donnellan, Caitlyn Cooke, Patricia Mauceri, Steven Altinel, Lynda Arnold, Becky Randazzo, and the team at Diane's Dance Center.
