Matt Power is a Canadian director, videographer, editor, and sound recordist who has worked on over 500 film and video productions. He got his start doing sound recording/mixing and audio post production at The Creative House in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1998, and he currently operates Power Web Media, a production company he launched in 2016. Matt is a graduate of the Advanced Multimedia program at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, where he achieved the President's Honour Roll. Matt has directed one feature film and several short films. He also directed the pilot episode of the reality television program "Kitchen Battles" for SEP Productions in London, Ontario in 2015. Matt has directed, shot, and edited more than 300 episodes of the popular web series "Your Oxford." He was Director of Photography and editor for the short film "Puppy Love" which was created for the 2009 24-hour International Film Race, and was selected for screening at the Autumn Harvest Film Festival in Toronto. In 2010, Matt joined ADvideo in Kitchener, Ontario, where he worked as a video editor and voiceover artist. During this time, he edited hundreds of corporate videos for high profile national and international brands. From 2010-2016, Matt served as Technology Coordinator for the Town of Ingersoll's Fusion Youth Technology Centre. During this time, he produced and directed three seasons of the cable TV program "Fusion TV" and also shot and edited numerous corporate videos. Matt also freelances as a location audio recordist/boom operator, and has worked with award-winning directors Gobi M. Rahimi and David K. Larkins. His first freelance audio project was a promotional video for ESPN.
