Ellen Askey

Ellen is a filmmaker and editor who works across narrative and documentary. Recently, she co-directed the pilot episode of the docu-series "Curiosity: The Making of a Scientist" (2020) and worked on "The Ascent" (2019) as Director of Photography, for which she became a semi-finalist in the NYCA awards. Her upcoming short doc "Farms to Lakes" (working title) follows a corn-belt farmer's quest to protect soil from erosion and water from eroded soil, despite heavy rains and neighboring fields whose water runs through his own.
