Atakan Satiroglu (born 10 November 1982; Istanbul) graduated from Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Performing Arts, Stage Design Major. He received the Best Independent Film and Best Director awards at the South Film and Art Academy Festival with the movie Your Man Says Goal, which he directed. The Empty, adapted for the cinema from Luigi Pirandello's play The Man with a Flower, won the Best Film at the Las Vegas Film Awards and the Rome Film Festival, and the Best Director in a Drama at the New York Director's Awards. Satiroglu, who directed many movies and TV series, continues his work as a producer and director.
