Daniel Albino

As a former D1 baseball player, ex-Wall Street suit, and current public school teacher, Bronx native Dan Albino has worn a ton of hats. It's no wonder the stories he writes feature characters from many walks of life. They are also tied together by a common thread - exploring the struggles and opportunities involving single-parent families with a healthy serving of sibling rivalry. Dan became an only child on his father's side and the oldest of 3 on his mother's side when his parents split. His gritty, unapologetic imagination fuels his drama/thriller/horror scripts. This has helped him option a script with Tetrad Studios, placing in the Top 10 at Final Draft's Big Break and the Top 25 at Roadmap JumpStart Competition. Dan is a proud Boricua and hopes to continue amplifying underrepresented voices in the genres everyone enjoys.
