Vienna Kendall Sharp is an actress, model, musician, producer, and writer who moved to Los Angeles at 18 years old. She is of German descent and has 8 biological siblings, as well as 9 step-siblings. She was home-schooled with her siblings, and spent most of her youth reading Shakespeare, making music, performing in show choir and local theatre. At the age of 17, she attended the University of Georgia, double-majoring in Theatre and Psychology. After a year at UGA, during an internship in Los Angeles presenting the Creative Arts Awards, Sharp realized her calling to Hollywood. Vienna was born in Atlanta Georgia, and grew up on a small chicken farm in the town of Canton Georgia. She began acting and singing at the age of 3, and by the age of 12 she was writing and directing musicals for her sisters and herself to perform in front of their family. She performed in local musical theatre groups from age 9-13, until she was scouted by Peter Sklar at a live performance of the one-act comedy sketch "Driver's Test". After Vienna's show, Sklar offered her a full scholarship to his esteemed resident performing arts workshop entitled Beginnings, attended by the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Sarah Jessica Parker. She accepted and spent the summer in New York, training nonstop at the workshop in acting, singing, and dance classes. She trained under the talented Paul Valley, Nyle Lynn, Q Pittman, and others. This was followed by an Off-Broadway showcase in Times Square where she performed a solo song and monologue at the age of 13. At 18 years old she made the move to Los Angeles, during this time she was beginning to have quite the notable following on social media. In 2016, Vienna was scouted and signed by a modeling agency and from there she modeled for many brands, including Urban Outfitters and Juicy Couture, and worked with well-known photographers such as Patrik Andersson, Chris Knight, and Bobby Vu. She was featured in Tokyo's Inspiration Cult Magazine, the French-English Dull Magazine, and featured on the cover of Baltisoul Magazine's issue "Young + Wild" (including an 8 page spread). Vienna soon booked a national commercial with Luma Bella Beauty, following this was a stream of ad campaigns for social media (including notable brands such as Aéropostale and Revolve). In 2017, Vienna was signed to Abrams Artists Agency (A3 Artists Agency), she then starred as Lily in Cannes-nominated director Junpei Suzuki's To Feel Human II. She was also the lead in Case 10-86, a ZEISS-produced sci-fi short, directed by Oscar-winner Scott E. Anderson. In 2018, Sharp was involved in the production of the movie Assassination Nation directed by Sam Levinson (Euphoria). She also booked the leading role of Emily in The Dance Film, a drama which made waves when the teaser trailer, shot in the LACMA with an original score, was released. After she reached an impressive following of 200,000 on Instagram, Vienna proceeded to turn her talents in another direction and began shifting her focus from social media and modeling towards TV/Film production and writing, alongside her main goals in acting and music. In 2019, Vienna started a YouTube channel and posted a surprise trailer for her short film starring only herself, illustrating the challenges of living with severe mental illness. Sharp wrote the film, produced the film, and shot it in San Francisco with director Bobby Vu. "Dear Arabella" premiered at The Frida Cinema in Santa Ana, California on Labor Day 2019, following its release on YouTube in July 2019. At Dear Arabella's Premiere Q&A there was loud vocal interest that Sharp continue making content about her DID, aka Dissociative Identity Disorder, as there are few media examples about the experience of an actual DID System. Much less media created by -and starring- someone who actually struggles with the PTSD-based mental disorder developed during childhood. This same year Sharp also starred in an 80's LGBTQ music film directed by The Dolan Twins, which is currently at 9+ million views on YouTube. After constant requests from fans and people battling mental illness, Vienna began working on the sequel to Dear Arabella. Titled "Ophelia in Love" and centered on a girl questioning the implications of mental health and her bisexuality, "Ophelia in Love" was in pre-production until COVID-19 shut down Hollywood. 2020 UPDATE: "Ophelia in Love" has moved into the casting stage, while Vienna is set to star as Jade in City of Angels. Written and directed by Kana Kozlowski, City of Angels takes a realistic behind-the-scenes look into the Hollywood Modeling Industry. MUSIC- Vienna comes from a family of musical prodigies, and grew up surrounded by music. She began singing at 3, then started voice lessons at age 10 and continued on with them for 8 years. She has studied under many vocal greats, including opera legend Riccardo Calleo, who trained Sharp in developing her vocal range and performing challenging songs to a live audience. This led to paid vocal opportunities for Vienna when she was 16-18. Vienna is a soprano with a four octave range. She also took 4 years of dance, including contemporary, lyrical jazz, and hip-hop, as well as training under legendary dance instructor and choreographer "Q" Pittman (Dance Moms) in New York. Sharp estimates she has written over 100 songs by now. She has been featured as a lead character in numerous music videos, including: Coachella by New City (2017) directed by Val Days, Draymond Green by Calvin Davis Junior (2017) directed by Andromeda Film, I Want The Keys To Your Heart by Freddy Hale (2017), and Hawaiian Party by Cubsport (2018) directed by the Dolan Twins. SOCIAL MEDIA- Vienna was part of the original wave of social media influencers to capitalize upon the photographer-model dynamic in LA and this reflected in the stream of colorful photoshoots and videos she starred in that were the product of her creative direction and styling. Because her Instagram had 200,000+ devoted followers, she was able to work with some of the largest brands and negotiated deals with many, as well as creative directing and producing large shoots to showcase their products. She worked around the clock with other creatives to produce "quick-flip content": these were video and photo shoots that had a turnaround time of a day or two, giving the worldwide cyber-audience fresh content daily. In 2016 she starred in I'm Sure You Would Have Left directed by Frank Mercy, and guest-starred in many YouTube videos, including "Natural Light Photoshoot" by Irene Rudnyk (which amassed more than 250,000 views). Vienna played a key role in the Dolan Twins' directorial debut, "Hawaiian Party" (2018), a video set in the 80's that focuses on all types of love and boasts 9 million views. The story-line further opened the dialogue between Vienna and her fans within the LGBTQ+ community, as she became more outspoken about her bisexuality and own personal beliefs. THEATRE- Vienna has been performing in theatrical productions and major musical theatre showings across the U.S since she was 7 years old. She has held key roles in musicals such as Les Misérables, Fiddler on the Roof, Mamma Mia, Songs For a New World, Annie, Grease, and many more! She has also performed lead roles in numerous plays such as 1984, Robin Hood, Beginning's Showcase (Off-Broadway), Driver's Test, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Cinderella, and more. She has actively participated in more than 36 theatre productions, taken extensive studio acting classes, and held different leadership roles within these productions such as assistant director and marketing manager. She has studied acting under Shari Shaw, Eric Stuart, Paul Valley, Ivan Ingermann, Devney Nixon, John Swanbeck, Geoffrey Douglas, Nyle Lynn, and many other world-class talents.
