Derek Ugochukwu is an actor and writer, known for Nightflyers (2018), Honest (2018), The Act of Separation (2019) and Cold Courage (2020). Derek is the third of six children and moved to Kuching, Malaysia at age 16 to obtain a Business degree. A former Fund accountant, he quit the financial sector to focus on his acting career, playing his ever first role as 'Olaudah Equiano' at Dublin's Scene and Heard Festival. He is based in Dublin, Ireland.
