From children's plays in Africa to sets in Hollywood Lars Frugard has lived for the art of acting. Performing at a young age on stage Lars has shown a diverse ability in character types. He has trained professionally in Meisner, Stanislavski and Uta Hagen on camera techniques with coaches Dianne Venora and Clay Banks. He continues to train in special skills such as swordsmanship, firearms and stunt work in preparation for any role. Lars is known for his strong character performances from Einar the Viking warrior to the romantic Douglas McDougal in The Dance and loves to challenge himself with a wide variety of character types. He is an avid outdoors-man with a passion for backpacking in the wilderness and exploring national forests. In recent years he has been training with the goal of one day climbing Mount Everest. Lars is excited to be on the next Emmy Award winning series or in any feature opposite of Mel Gibson!
