Dani Romero was born in the large suburb of Mexico City, 'Tlalpan' located on the city's southern border. She is of Mexican, Scottish and Irish decent. As a young girl, she began to develop her skills as a performer, taking singing and music lessons for various years. After moving to Canada and starting high school in 2011, she quickly became involved in the theatre department, acting and singing in various original plays and musicals, as well as joining the improv team, where she got the opportunity to compete nationally at the Canadian Improv Games. Over the years Dani has created her own content, co-writing, directing and acting in a variety of short plays, as well as two independent short films which were screened at the Toronto Indie Film Festival in 2016. In 2018, Dani graduated from Humber College's Acting for Film and Television Program. In her spare time Dani likes to stay active and creative, taking aerial silks classes once a week.
