Georgy Gusev

George Gusev is a russian cellist and composer. A founder and an artistic director of the GOSH-projects creative lab and an international festival "Masters of Music". He is a graduate of the famed Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory and Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. He performs at major music festivals and events worldwide with other musicians, singers, dancers, and performers including Yo-Yo Ma, Natalia Gutman, Giovanni Sollima, Enrico Dindo, Rocco Filippini, Monika Leskovar, Andrey Gavrilov, Boris Andrianov, Eliso Virsaladze, Pavel Vernikov, Sonig Tchakerian, Elsa Lila, Dilnaz Akhmadieva. He also worked with several multi-Grammy Award winning composers, producers and performers such as Randy Jackson, Walter Afanasieff, Kenny G, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Mark Mancina. Georgy performed at the International Music Exhibition NAMM Musikmesse Russia - 2015 with his solo project "Cello Drive", on the stage of the Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art, at the international exhibition NAMM - 2016 in California and continues to tour around the world. In 2022 he released his first documentary film about cancer - "Music of cells", for which he also composed a soundtrack.
