Emily Schultz

Emily Schultz is the author of the international bestseller, The Blondes, which was named a Best Book of 2015 by NPR and Kirkus. The Blondes was produced as a scripted podcast starring Madeline Zima (Twin Peaks), Helen Hong (Inside Llewyn Davis), and Rob Belushi (How I Met Your Mother). It was executive produced by Duncan Birmingham (IFC's Maron and Starz' Blunt Talk). Her newest novel, Little Threats, is forthcoming from Putnam Books for Spring 2020. Her writing has appeared in Slate, Elle, Bustle, Vice, and elsewhere. Stephen King said, "Emily Schultz is my new hero." Schultz lives in Brooklyn and is a producer and screenwriter with the indie media company Heroic Collective where she makes podcasts, music videos, and viral content.
