Randolph Joshua Cromwell

Randolph Joshua Cromwell was born in Virginia. When he was young, he moved to Florida with his family and began a path of art, writing, theater, and music. He spent several years of working in an art studio, taking music lessons, and participating in various plays and working in different creative writing workshops. He has worked with a variety of mediums that ranged from pencils (graphites and color), pen, acrylic and pencil based watercolors, charcoals, paints, and inks. He also took years of piano lessons and used the knowledge built from that and taught himself the guitar and drums, transitioning from plays and the theatrics to working behind the scenes. As the music progressed, he began to write music and compose private scores and small acoustic pieces. When Randolph was 14, he began college and completed his degree at the same time as finishing high school in 2012. By this time, he had fully birthed his freelance work as an artist under the name "RJCromwell" and had submitted his art to countless contests and judged shows, winning first place more often than not. In 2015, Randolph decided to split up his art and his music works and give them a brand. He built an online portfolio and solidified his online presence with different social media platforms that he facilitates. For his art and commission work, he went under the name "GroundZeroCommissions" and his music and writing went under the name "The Black Eye Brigade". In 2017, he married Joy and began taking more classes surrounding figure drawing and design and the continued history of art. Since his dive back into the art world, he has participated in many small and local projects both in front and behind the camera.
