Writer, director, and producer Blaine Fuller was born in California, in 1990. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in creative writing, Blaine moved to Bangkok, Thailand where he practiced performance art, wrote a novel, studied documentary filmmaking and began his love affair with Polaroid photography. Determined not to retire too early into a life of leisure on a tropical beach, Blaine returned to America to the city of San Francisco to study Meisner, Stanislavski, and Grotowski, ultimately leading him to his first feature film project, Poor Theater, which would take him to Tokyo and Myanmar. After monkhood in Bagan, Blaine stepped back inside the USA to continue making films, become the lyricist for rock band Tokyo Lucky Hole and direct their hit music video, Mr. McQueen.
