Pearl Wu is best known for her roles as health care professionals (nurse, physical therapist, pharmacist) and administrative professionals (assistant, secretary and receptionist). Born and raised in China, she first started working on film co-productions between Hollywood and China, had amazing opportunities to learn the acting craft from some of the best in the industry such as Jackie Chan, Will Smith and Taraji P. Henson. Inspired by life experiences, she aims to defy stereotypical portrayals of Asian actors. Her recent TV credits include Mrs Fitzgerald is Missing (Amazon), Switched at Birth (ABC) and the upcoming feature film Valediction in 2020. She speaks fluent Mandarin.
