I am from Long Beach, California. The city by the sea, we have an artful fast paced lifestyle most people don't know about, especially because of how close we are to Los Angeles. There is so much community and diversity where I'm from, it's like I live in a mixing pot of culture. We have the Pride Parades and the Grand Prix. It doesn't matter where you're from my city welcomes all kinds. I want to show the same love we have in my city and translate it into film. Don't get me wrong, we have our share of problems, but at the base of all our complication there's nothing but love. Long Beach is my home, but not my final destination. I am currently a student at Morehouse College majoring in Cinema, Television, and Emerging Media studies (CTEMs). I walk the same streets and sit in the same classrooms as the honorable Dr. Martin Luther King, Spike Lee, and Samuel L. Jackson. I want to meet as much people as I can and listen to their stories and feel their experiences. I want to create a life of wonder and inspire those from Long Beach and all over the world that it is possible to live your dreams out loud. My goal is to influence and inspire people through my movies. My films will be a depiction of life through the eyes of children and young adults. I want to capture a world of beauty and struggle with a hint of fantasy. I want to tell the world a story that will shock and amaze them, and create awareness and hopefully a sense of urgency. There's no true color except the hue of the soul, and when mankind is pushed far enough they will evolve passed simple minded prejudice and see the full spectrum of love.
