Philippe Poirier is a Canadian actor born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. In 2011, he received his Fine Arts Bachelors degree from Ryerson Theatre School and was an honors graduate from Humber College in Toronto. He began his professional career in 2005 by performing in various theatre, television and film credits. His theatre credits most recently include Opening Night (QAC, 2015), The Shoemaker and His Wife (Little Red Theatre, 2014-15), Projet Actif (Mixed Company Theatre, 2013-14), Starting Over (Bad Dog Theatre, 2012), Hometown (Blyth Theatre Festival, 2011), Twelfth Night (Ruckus Magazine, 2010). Some of his most recent TV credits include his recurring role on Eastlink TV's 14 Keys (Season 1-8), Vertical Integration (Doug Carr, 2014) and Memory Lane (Miles Robison, 2013). He's also appeared in commercials for AstraZeneca 'Crestor' (2012) and RBC investments (2012-13). He made his big screen debut in the feature film Grim Trigger (2017) and will most recently appear in an episode of Carter (2017) distributed by Sony Pictures Television.
