Ajay Dutta was born on 8th March 1971, in Kolkata brought up in a middle-class Punjabi family. He was a gifted singer and painter and grew up with a burning love for film and music. Ajay is married and has 2 sons. He holds an honours degree in Commerce from St. Xaviers College in Kolkata. He also holds an MBA degree in Marketing and has 27 years of core marketing and sales experience at a managerial level in Retail, Software and FMCG sectors. He quit his full-time job as a Director in an MNC at the end of 2019 to pursue his dream of acting full-time. Ajay started his film career in Bangalore with Chakravyuha (2016), a Kannada Film starring Puneet Rajkumar.
