Mr. Valents (birth name Matteo Valentini) Vignola, MO, Italy - 16/11/1990; is an Italian actor, director and screenwriter. Trained at the E. Fabbri drama company in his hometown in Italy, he left his country for London, where he studied acting and filmmaking for two years attending many masterclasses and workshops at the Raindance Film School and the London City Academy Film School. In 2018 Mr. Valents wrote, directed, produced and starred in the multi-awarded comedy web series The Fridge: An Ugly Web Series (2017), in Italian language with English subtitles. The same year, Mr. Valents wrote, produced and directed the micro-short drama B-Love (2018), winner of the Best Director Award at the Alternative Film Festival in Toronto. In 2019, he starred in Unnecessary Posts, weekly web series he created and directed. In October 2019, Mr. Valents directed and starred in the comedy short I Really Need to See a Good Doctor, which collected an award for "Best Comedy Short" at the After Hour Film Festival. Right after this short release, Mr. Valents starred in the awarded action short he wrote "A Movie Without an Ending" (2020) alongside Veronica Osimani. In January 2020, Mr. Valents directed and performed in the critically acclaimed experimental short he wrote "An Instant Story". In October 2020, Mr. Valents wrote, directed and starred in the dark comedy about Social Media "The Social Doctor", released in February 2021. In April 2021, Mr. Valents switched genre and wrote, directed and produced the micro-horror "2:15" shot in one take and marking his horror debut. In January 2022, Mr. Valents wrote, directed and produced his second horror short 'Ask Me A Question' due for release in May 2022, making its first long short above 30 minutes length.
