Imogen Straub is an American cinematographer, artist and screenwriter. Hailing from rural Appalachia, an insatiable zeal for adventurous possibilities led her to Southern Oregon University's cinematography program, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science and met many long-term collaborators. While her directorial debut manifested as 1980s visual kei glam rock music videos shot on a super 8, her first official production, aired on PBS, was an episode of Pacific Northwestern documentary series "The Jeffersonian". On this project, she became acquainted with future filmmaking partner, Adam Borrego. Together, they went on to produce the award-winning satirical romcom, The Better Half (2017), among a series of other shorts.
