Chris Banks first started acting in the first grade, with no organization and not in a theatre. Going into middle school he and his classmates used weekly vocabulary words to create a skit and performed it in class. Throughout his childhood Chris created and acted in wrestling story lines, as well as started backyard wrestling with his friends. This was his way of storytelling, and the avenue which he used to perform.. After out-growing wrestling he focused more on school, and also on trying to succeed in sports. Chris started his path to higher education at Fitchburg State University. After transferring to and graduating from Quincy College, A.S. Behavioral Science, he moved on to and graduated from University of Massachusetts in Boston, B.A. Psychology, and then took LSAT and was heading toward a path in law. He didn't step foot on a film set until 2015, in Katheryn Bigelow's Detroit. Reuniting with his first true love, he knew had to act. So in the Summer of 2017 he packed three bags and moved to New York City with a month's rent. Chris has been working as an actor ever since. Chris Banks is second generation American, only child, and was born and raised on Fifth Street in South Boston, MA.
