Maurice Lofton was born and raised in the South Austin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois to mother', Myrna K. Lofton and father, Maurice Lee. At the age of 7, Maurice made his first on-screen appearance as a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, interviewing Oprah Winfrey. Maurice attended and graduated from Lane Technical College Prep High School in Chicago. During his senior year, he auditioned and was cast a walk on role in the Gary Fleder sports biopic "The Express" (2008) starring Rob Brown and Dennis Quaid. Maurice landed his first credited speaking role in the independent feature film entitled "I'm Coming For You" (2018) filmed in Illinois. He has also been cast for several episodes of NBC "Chicago Fire", FOX "Empire" and Showtime Network's "The Chi"(seasons one & two). Maurice is a Christian. Besides acting, he is a inspiring comedian, dancer, YouTuber, and huge fan of music.
