Parker Alexander Meyers

Parker Alexander Meyers is a transgender filmmaker from Sarasota, Florida. His love for movies comes from being raised in a family that loved going to the theater together and discussing movies. He, along with his twin sister would put on shows for their mom when they were little, eventually with his sister focusing a lot of her time into theater acting as they grew up. He spent most of his time learning more about filmmaking through watching behind the scenes featurettes on his favorites movies growing up, really developing his love for the process. He eventually decided to pursue film when he realized he had one of the top film schools in the country in his backyard. At Ringling College of Art and Design (class of 2020), he has worked with Justin Long, Kevin Smith, Dylan McDermott, and stunt coordinator Andy Armstrong on multiple projects through their Studio Lab program.
