Australian born Sean Brandt is a multi award winning Photographer, Director & Producer. His work has spearheaded iconic advertising campaigns and appeared in over 30 international publications. With 17 years experience working in Paris, New York, London, Milan, Copenhagen, Frankfurt & Tokyo, Sean has created unique & startling images for the likes of French & Italian Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Interview, The Face, Numero & GQ, while his personal work has featured in seminal photographic journals such as 'Photo', 'Zoom' & 'Black & White'. Sean has shot international ad campaigns for Cacheral, Bleu Blanc Rouge & L'Oreal. In Australia his campaign for Witchery landed the fashion house the 'Retailer of the Year' award and transformed the company's image. Sean directed 'Greek Holiday', a commercial for Publicis, that was voted by the BBC as one of the top 10 TVCs of the year and awarded at Cannes & New York advertising festivals. 'Nutragrain Airboards' also directed by Brandt was Kellogg's most successful retail TVC. Sean was one of the longest-serving assistants to legendary French Vogue photographer, Guy Bourdin - considered one of the 20th century's greatest photographers and leading visual artists. Sean also assisted the famed director / photographer Sarah Moon - awarded commercial director with 5 Gold Lions & Palme D'Or to her name - on her award-winning feature film, "Mississippi One". He attended NYU film school where he was further mentored by acclaimed industry veterans Professor Marketa Kimbrel - original actor studio member; Milan Stitt - former head of Yale Drama school; and Professor Venable Heddon - NYU screen writing head. Sean's feature film, "Elizabeth II" was developed with the help of the Sundance institute director's lab. Sean received a screenwriting diploma from AFTRS, his native Australian national film school. He was also an actor in residence at the prestigious, Maine's International Film Workshops. His ABC New York Production, "Cuba Undercover" was estimated to have in excess of 19 million viewers and the music video "Crying" shot, directed and edited by Sean for the Blue House opened the Edinburgh Festival. 'When the sky fell down, the myth of Guy Bourdin' is a feature documentary written, directed, photographed and produced by Sean. Sean's passion and purpose is to create moving or still images that challenge people to look, think and wonder, whether for adverting, editorial or personal shows. He has returned to his native shores to work in the local region of Australasia with production networks in Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Shanghai, Saigon, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Tokyo.
