Vik is a nationally touring stand up comic based in Chicago. Known for his sharp self-deprecation, observational humor on dating, & hilarious crowd work, he's opened for both Roy Wood Jr. & Michelle Wolf of The Daily Show, and performs regularly at Zanies Comedy Club & The Laugh Factory. He was a 2017 StandUp NBC Quarterfinalist, & has done a number of festivals all over the country most notably: Laughing Devil in NYC (2017), Gilda's LaughFest in Grand Rapids (2017), Cleveland Comedy festival (2016 finalist), Out of Bounds Comedy festival in Austin (2016), San Diego Comedy festival (2017 semi finalist), Westside Comedy Theatre's Standup Showdown in LA (2017), Joshua Tree Int'l Improv Comedy festival (2016 top 10 performer), Milwaukee Comedy festival (2017), Desi Comedy festival in San Francisco (2017), Chicago's NerdFest (2017), & headlined the Trill Comedy Festival in Houston in 2017. He's a co-producer of one of the largest independent comedy shows in Chicago (Laugh Near Minimalist Furniture) and founding member of Team Us Comedy who produce unique shows all over Chicago. In addition to stand-up, Vik's improv group 'I'm a Turtle' can be seen performing all over Chicago & at festivals around the country. (Chicago Improv Festival, Denver Improv Festival, The Big DIF Festival in Iowa, Joshua Tree Int'l Festival) His comedy dating podcast 'MasterDating' was one of the Chicago Podcast Festivals' official selections, & can be found on iTunes & SoundCloud. Vik made his acting debut in 2017 as a lead in the critically acclaimed web series 'Code-Switched', A comedy-drama about a group of South Asian-Americans juggling love, work, and family in Chicago.
