Deon is a proud native New Yorker who grew up in Harlem. He first started acting during his college years where he performed in Pippin in Tribeca Theater. Deon continued acting in the years to follow as part of the NuAfrican Theatre ensemble. Deon expanded his acting repertoire to include film in 2018 when he moved to Los Angeles. He now also has begun writing and producing his own work.
