Emily Pedone is an American film and theatrical actress. She is best known for her breakout role as Amber in The Green Grass (2019), and her upcoming involvement in the horror series Black Veil (2020). She is a two time Best Actress nominee at the Best of the Bay Awards. Emily was born in Clearwater, Florida. She grew up in the Tampa area where she was an avid dancer and choir student. At a young age, she began theatre at the Straz Center for Performing Arts. At 13, she played the role of Ariel in a production of Shakespeare's "The Tempest." She was also nominated for Best Actress at the Straz Center for her emotional performance in "The Good Doctor." In high school, Emily traveled to Los Angeles for a summer where she studied acting at the University of California Los Angeles. She also took classes with the New York Film Academy. Soon after, she was cast as a Nun in the short student film "And So There was Sophie." Emily then began a career as a local runway and print model until she graduated high school. In 2017, Emily began an avid career as a dinner-theatre actress while she completed her BA in English and Political Science at the University of South Florida. She soon joined the cast of Dead Ringer (2018) as Cindy, which went on to win Best Independent Film at the 2019 UK National Film Awards. The Green Grass (2019), which stars Emily, was nominated for Best Screenplay at the 2019 International Christian Film Festival. Emily also hosted the YouTube Series Axe Nation (2018). Emily began making a name for herself in the horror film industry in 2019. She was cast in a supporting role in the sci-fi feature film The Connection (2019). Emily began working with iHorror as a spokesmodel, where she caught the attention of the Final Destination producers and the director of the acclaimed Blair Witch Project. In 2020, she was cast as a lead in their co-produced horror anthology Black Veil, which has since been on hold due to COVID. Emily co-created and co-hosts a YouTube true crime comedy show called Killing Time. It combines her passions for storytelling and advocacy.
