Reetwika Banerjee

Bengali by birth, Reetwika Banerjee has spent most of her childhood in the city of joy Kolkata. After acquiring Engineering and Masters in Business Administration from Symbiosis International University (Pune), Reetwika Banerjee is a perfect Corporate by profession now. She is associated with one of the world's most respected US based consulting giants as an Information Security Advocate. Presently she has decided to settle in the silicon city of Bangalore with her husband but she is often seen traveling across borders in search of adventure. Reetwika Banerjee marked her first appearance as a published writer in 2014, arguably releasing India's first assortment of English "Micro" stories (shorter than a short story) under the title of 'Fantastic 40', published by All About Books Global Publishers. The book received a warm response from its readers and in 2016 the grand 2nd edition has been released under the umbrella of Purushottam Publishers. Reetwika is an Associate Member of The Script Writers Association, Mumbai. Recently in September 2017, her micro story named 'One Rainy Day' from 'Fantastic 40' book has been filmed into a short movie 'Adhura' by Euphoria Films (Mumbai). It was released on Youtube on the auspicious occasion of Durga Sasthi which gathered very encouraging comments from the viewers. Couple of more Short Films based on her original stories are in filming stage. Reetwika Banerjee has composed these five fascinating books and is presently writing her sixth book. 1. 'Fantastic 40' (collection of 40 micro stories) 2. 'Zenova 20' (assortment of 20 short stories) 3. 'Bhanga Moner Dinga' (set of 50 Bengali poems) 4. 'Cuddle & Clash' (bag of 25 feather-touch stories) 5. 'Enta Habibi - Five Shades of Romance' (mix of 5 novellas) Reetwika is also a voice artist, nationally acclaimed as a 'Visharad' (expert) by the esteemed Sarva Bharatiya Charu Kala Mandir in the year of 2009. She has been often seen performing recitals on television channels and live stage shows in the regional circle.
