Born and raised in central Iowa, the middle child with two sisters, Zachary started acting young, turning in a particularly moving performance as King Herod, aged 8. Graduating from Iowa State, he moved to California and started working in theatre and comedy, acting in and writing plays. He then moved to Los Angeles where he performs improv, does sketch, acts, and writes.
