Born in Panorama City, California, Sterling always felt and knew he was different. Sterling fell in love with acting from the very first time he saw the movie 'Illegal Tender' staring Rick Gonzalez. It has been since then Sterling followed his dream toward acting. Sterling attended the Illinois Media School to learn more about Media and Journalism and graduated. He then realized his passion in acting grew stronger from being in front of the camera. In 2013 Sterling got a taste of Theatre performances being apart of the production of Phantom of the Opera playing in the supporting role in Ill Muto. He then began to do more auditions in school landing him roles in Rebel Without a Cause playing Jim Stark (James Dean), and Les Miserable as the role of Foreman. Before Sterling's move to Chicago, Cruze knew he didn't want to work a regular 9-5 on a weekly basis. Cruze went on to become a character CW's "Crime Stoppers Case Files Chicago". He then knew he was serious about his craft and went on to enroll in The Second City Training Center in Chicago. Sterling is also an published author of his Non-Fiction Erotic Memoir called 'The Diary'. Cruze lays out all of his encounters and what life was like growing up gay in a homophobic and religious household. Sterling lived with his father for 10 years until he was 18 and during that time Sterling's father wasn't the greatest. However, Sterling did overcome and began to pursue his career in Chicago and stays true to himself doing so.
