Chilean paleontologist, Antarctic explorer (14 expeditions to Antarctica) and specialist in the evolution of South American and Antarctic life at the end of the age of dinosaurs. Author of several book chapters and books, social media interviews and documentaries. Chief scientist at Chilean Antarctic Institute and representative at the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research. Has he actively linked to the dissemination of science and Paleontology as discipline. Recently, participated in the BBC documentary "The day dinosaurs died" and "Nothofagus, ancient forests of America" and in the Scientific American reports "Chilean and Antarctic Fossils Reveal the Last"Geologic Minutes"of the Age of Dinosaurs" and "The last dinosaurs of Patagonia" in the country of Spain.
