Violette Trotter

Violette Trotter is an American Actor, Casting Director, Casting Assistant, and Street Scout. Theatre Credits include: Off Broadway: Emily in Deckhand (Theatre East), Other Selected Credits: Ophelia in Hamlet (Stella Adler Company Tour), Abigail in The Columnist, Frances in Bhutan, Jessica in The Runaways (Stella Adler Studio of Acting), #8 in The Wolves, Wendy in The Wendy: A a Tale of Peter Pan, 2nd Witch/3rd Murderer in Macbeth (Interlochen Center for the Arts). She is also acting in supporting roles in two Independent Feature Films, set to hit theaters and the festival circuit in 2023. As a Casting Director, she has worked with blending actors and "real people," to create realistic worlds within filmmaking. She is currently Casting Directing two Feature Films, set to shoot in late 2022. As a Casting Assistant, Researcher, and Street Scout, she has worked in Film & TV, Commercial Work, and Editorial Fashion under Geraldine Barón & Salome Oggenfuss (Casting Double), Kate Antognini, and many others. Their unique approach to "real people casting" has really inspired her work, and she owes all that she's learned in the industry to them. Some notable clients she's worked with have been Neon, A24, HBO, Amazon Studios, Hulu, Flies Collective, Urban Decay, New Balance, Play Girl Magazine, and Numéro Netherlands.
