Suwannee Sam is a Thai-American actress and entrepreneur. She was born in Thailand, a middle child from Mr. Jumnong and Mrs.Tun Samrankai, the local retirement politicians. She has moved to Los Angeles, and She has trained over the years with many respected professionals, including Baron Brown studio, Michelle Danner acting studio, and Denise Woods Training center. Being has to deal with immigration has inspired her to co-writes produced and starring at the film "Back to The Wall" This groundbreaking story is about a young woman fighting to escape her abusive past and fleeing her home country to find a better life. A film makes its rounds in the festival circuit with awards and nominations, winning the "Audience Award" from the Awareness film festival and "Best Man Filmmaker" from the Barcelona Planet film festival. And Best Sound Mixing from Indie Short Fest film festival. Finding success at a young age by becoming a chair holder at Fresh Partner, she's affordable to travel to many countries. Human trafficking is a severe epidemic worldwide, and during her travels, Suwannee was introduced to various victims in many different countries to learn more about their harrowing experiences. She spends her limited free time volunteering with Cast LA, an organization whose mission statement is to end modern slavery and human trafficking. This experience has inspired to co-write Somchai's Raid and Rescue; the film is base on true stories from victims that she has met and will be told in a fictional narrative to bring this to a broader audience. Suwannee has successfully recruited professionals and philanthropists from different industries who believe in this cause and aims to assist in executing a fundraiser event that could have it not later than mid of the next year, which will help raise funds for the film. Proceeds from the fundraiser and the film will also go to the International Victims Action Center (IVAC), a non-profit organization serving Americans and individuals connected to the United States abroad who are facing domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking. When she's not writing producing, training acting, or tending to her business affairs, Suwannee enjoys learning new things trying new cuisines, traveling, learning about different cultures, and practices martial arts such as Muay Thai, and Krav Maga.
