M. Marlin White is a California native, working and living within the Bay Area, CA. Born in Santa Clara, CA and growing up in San Jose, CA, White attended Valley Christian High School where he pursued Musical Theatre, Singing, and Acting as extracurricular activities--graduating with a Theater Minor within the school's Conservatory Program. While attending Valley Christian, White first began his songwriting career as well as had the opportunity to create and produce a number of short musicals, which were 10-15 minutes in length. Upon starting college at San Jose State University in 2013/2014, White was able to create his short musical titled "Stage Kiss" into a full length musical [later renamed "Sean Gibbs' Stage Kiss"] and had it produced and performed by Spotlite Stage Company, the school's student run theater production company. White soon after received a Commendation from the City of San Jose and Mayor Chuck Reed for this accomplishment. He later went on to self-publish the work in the fall of 2016 after working with arranger Craig Russell Mason. White then went on to graduate from San Jose State University in the spring of 2017 with a B.S. in Hospitality Management, and in the fall produced and acted in the short film, Burnt Matches. White continues to be actively involved with Singing Songwriting, Screen and Stage Writing, Filmmaking, Acting, and Producing.
